Postponing. Well, it’s not a very nice feeling! I was terribly nervous as the day approached but had started to get excited when the weather reports came in a day before. And the reporters were true to their word – I’m currently snowed in and roads are more or less impassable; we even had a tractor clearing the road as best he could this morning.
But I’ve survived a few snowstorms, we’re just not used to it being a regular thing in this country. So it was with regret that myself, my publisher and the organiser of the event realised it would have to be postponed (NOT cancelled!) and we hope to have some new dates soon.
What cheered me up immensely was getting my first ever 5* review on Amazon – an awesome feeling. The town I wrote about has most definitely had its socio-economic problems in recent years but it has a rich heritage which is what the book is about. And the one thing I realised when I had moved away, every town has their problems.
Thank you 🙂
